Product Description
BD636 Epoxy Colored Sand Grout is a reactive two-component grout
which made of polymer resin, special curing agent, high-quality
colored sand and other raw materials.It is designed for various
anti-mold sealing, and has the advantages of frosted matte texture,
environmental friendly, good construction performance, etc. BD636
Epoxy Colored Sand Grout can be widely used in kitchens, bathrooms,
hotels, and homerenovation to seal the seams, and will bring you a
new construction concept and aesthetic effect.
Application:
1. Beautify and protect the seams of antique tiles, frosted tiles,
glazed tiles, imported
linen tiles and other tiles.
2, Indoor window sill, balcony, kitchen, bathroom, all kinds of
seams of mold and
mildew, waterproof sealing.
How to use:
1. Seam cleaning: Use the seam cone, spatula or other tools to
clean up the grease,
loose material and other pollutants in the seam, and clean up with
a vacuum cleaner to
ensure that the tile seam and the surrounding clean, dry, no dust
and particles, no
grease, and no loose material.
2. Material preparation: Open the tap and put on the nozzle, then
put the product into
the double-cartridge sealant gun. Cut the mixer nozzle to proper
shape and size base
on the project needs. Discard some grout in the front part (about
30cm) to avoid
improper mixing, until the grout color is stable and uniformly.
3. Caulking construction: It is recommended that before caulking,
both sides of the
gap should be waxed or pasted with masking tap for protection; when
caulking
construction, slowly force the material to be evenly coated in the
gap, and move the
mixing tube backward evenly.
4. Pressing the seam: Use the seam ball or adjusting knife along
the tile seam evenly
from one end to the other.
5. Residual cleaning: caulking construction after 6~12 hours
(slightly different due to
different ambient temperatures), grout curing to a certain extent,
tear off the paper or
clean the semi-cured grout on the surface of the tiles with
cleaning spatula.
Precautions
1. The construction temperature should be around 5~35 ℃; humidity
should be less
than 70%; avoid construction on the humid and rainy weather or in
the humidity
greater than 70%;
2. For the uneven or unsmooth tile surface, protecting with masking
tape or waxing is
recommended before construction;
3. Before the first construction, a small area test can be taken to
confirm the color and
construction method, and then construct the large area;
4. The curing time is different under different temperature and
humidity. Before
cleaning the residual material, please test shovel in a small area
to confirm that you
can easily shovel the residual material before shoveling a large
area of grout;
5. After the construction is completed, it can be put into use only
after 24 hours of
maintenance at a temperature of 20~35℃; 72 hours are needed for
complete curing; if
the temperature is lower than 20℃, it is necessary to prolong the
maintenance time; it
is forbidden to soak in water or splash moisture on the surface of
the adhesive before
complete curing; it is not suitable to bear loads during the curing
period;
6. In the area of direct sunlight, light-colored grout has the risk
of color change, it is
not recommended to use light-colored grout.
